After updating your Prosperity Now password, you may run in to issues with many Office applications, specifically Skype for Business, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Below you'll find the procedure on how to update your password on each application:

Outlook:

Outlook will continue to work when you're logged in until it tries to make contact with the Office 365 cloud. At that point, you should be prompted to update your password. Once you update your password, everything should return to normal.

Skype for Business:

Skype for Business, like Outlook, will continue to work when you're logged in until it prompts you to update your password. If you're not logged in, it will prompt you to update your password during the log in process. Once you update your password, everything should return to normal.

Word/Excel/PowerPoint:

Word, Excel and PowerPoint will stop responding when trying to open any document from SharePoint or OneDrive. Unlike the other two, Word/Excel/PowerPoint wont prompt you to update your password sometimes. To update your password, follow the instructions below:

  1. Close out of all Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. Make sure to save any document to your Desktop so you don't potentially lose anything.
  2. Open a blank Word/Excel/PowerPoint document
  3. Go to File -> Account -> Sign out to sign out of your account
  4. Sign back in to your account by clicking on Sign in
  5. Enter your Prosperity Now credentials when prompted
  6. Select Skip for now when asked if you want to add the account to Windows

Once you do all of this, things should begin to go back to normal and you should get full functionality from Office applications.

If you're still having issues, clear your credentials (covered here) and restart your computer. If that doesn't help, please submit a ticket to [email protected].
