These Polycom phone utilizes Teams to make calls and join scheduled meetings. It can be used to join meetings that are scheduled on a meeting/conference room's calendar. The home screen will display the calendar for the current day and each meeting that is scheduled.

Operating Teams Polycom: 

  • To set up a meeting schedule a Teams meeting and invite the conference room in order to put it on its calendar
  • On the Polycom screen, touch the purple join button (1) next to the meeting title to start the meeting, or join if the meeting has already started
  • To dial out manually, touch the purple dial pad icon (2) in the bottom right corner of the display. On the next screen, you can dial whichever number you need
    • NOTE: No need to dial 8 for calling external numbers and you must dial the entire number if you are calling a staff phone


When joining a meeting from both the Polycom and the mounted tv, ensure that the tv speaker volume is turned to zero. To do this, click the three dots on the meeting screen (“more actions”) and then click ‘Show device settings’ which will be at the top. From this menu, reduce the speaker volume to zero to prevent painfully loud feedback.

Using the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner. you can search anyone within PN and contact that individual.
