First time use:

  1. Make sure you’re using a device that can cast to the Miracast
    • Surface laptops/tablets
    • Dell 7370
    • Wireless devices that supports Miracast technology
  2.  On your Windows PC, navigate to Start -> Settings -> Devices -> Connected Devices.
  3. Click on ‘Add a Device’ and wait for the adapter to appear in the list. Click on the receiving adapter and that’s all. You’ve set up the wireless display.
  4. Win key + p to open up the projection options
  5. Select the device name that is displayed on screen ie “MSDisplayAdapter” to cast your device to the Miracast
  6. From here, you have a couple of different projection options
  7. The disconnect option disconnects you from the Miracast
